How We Work

Organizations come to us with a variety of needs. Our process works when we start with a Diagnostic, and we begin every engagement this way.

The Diagnostic starts with a questionnaire followed by a 3 hour Discovery Session. This guided discussion is conversational, but frank. We will take a look at where you are now and where you want to be. We ask hard questions. We challenge assumptions. We draw out information about your organization: values, goals, culture, clients, audiences, personality, perceptions. Your open and honest input is expected here. This important step will lay the foundation for us to develop the right strategy to reach your objectives.

After the Discovery Session we’ll take a period of time to clarify further questions, absorb the information, do our own investigation and strategic thinking. We have developed a range of tools that include a brand or website audit, gap analysis, perception validation, social media review, identity evaluation or content review. These approaches evaluate strategy, brand and communications.

At the end of the Diagnostic Phase we will present you with our findings along with our strategic recommendations. This strategy will drive every decision in the development of future creative assets. To show this in use, we develop a Design Board which lets you see how the strategy can be translated into creative.


Though clients come to us with different issues and needs, a typical engagement usually lasts between 3-6 months, and fees range between $15-30k. After our initial engagement, organizations will often contact us for annual reports, ongoing materials and other special projects.
