Found this on Kickstarter and think it’s pretty amazing. They describe it as a mountain bike wheelchair. It helps people ride on rough and uneven terrain. The first iteration was designed for people in developing countries—-where often times there are no paved roads.
All the moving parts are made from common bicycle parts including the back tires. This means any user can go into their local bike shop and get replacement parts—making it really easy and inexpensive.
And to top it off: it’s manufactured in the US. It was important to the creators of this to partner with a local manufacturer.
